Anyone know of any manga that have been destroyed in the transition into the world of the moving(anime)?

The biggest and most aweful example i can think of is the Jing: King of Bandit series, the Manga is clever and sophisticated, but the anime takes the stories dums them down, reduces the quality of the artwork detail and generally makes the stories childish... (angry rant over)

yeah i know what you mean, i also hate it when they try to fit all 12 books of a manga, with 100 odd pages each into an anime series thats like 6 eps long...

Saiyuki is crap! And so is Hikaru no Go, the manga works really well as a manga, but it just doesn't seem to work as an anime! D:

Shaman King is a pretty good anime, as long as you keep in mind that it pretty much diverges entirely from the manga. It's not horribly cocked up but it's not at all right either. :D
